RE: Let's say I break into your house ... Whose house?

How hypocritical is it for us to take land from Mexico and bar them from entering under the premise that it is OUR house. We didn’t even bother to rename the house.  We still call it California, Texas, Los Angeles, and San Jose.  How can you have an English only movement in a country filled with so many Spanish names?

The problem with history is that it gives multiple groups claim to the same land.  The Palestinians have a very legitimate claim to the land underneath the Israelis.  The same is true among whites in Africa.  Sure their grandfather’s stole the land, but whose is it after a generation … the African with no land in his homeland or the European’s who has worked it his entire life?

The answer, as corny as it may sound, is, “This land is your land. This land is my land.  From California …” Immigration policies imply an ownership that is inconsistent with historical precedent. They ignore the claims of prior migrants in favor the desires of the current migrants.

Deuteronomy 5:15
Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.
