A friend of mine made a point last night about how barack getting elected helps all black people be seen differently. i agree. this study, http://uwnews.org/article.asp?articleID=1624, confirms it. the question women struggle with is whether they'd rather women to be seen differently or blacks. i still believe we should be guided by MLK's words belief that the black man's causes floats all boats. I can't remember the actual way he said it though.
