Hillary's negatives are high. Democrats will either learn this when Hillary loses to Obama or when she loses to Mccain. Her odds of wining are slim. In the latest poll, USA Today has her losing to Mccain by 1pt and Obama beating Mccain by 4pts.

There has been a perfect storm of events that has aligned us all politically. We all share the goal of preventing Hillary Rodham Clinton from becoming the next president of the United States. This email is to make the case that the best way to prevent that is for you to vote for Barak Obama in the Texas Democratic Primary on March 4th. In the state of Texas, anyone who is registered to vote can vote in either primary--they just cannot vote in both.
It may sound crazy to some of you but think about it the old maxim, 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend'. With over 600 delegates, McCain has the Republican nomination locked up. In fact, his closest competitor, Mitt Romney, dropped out of the race today. Your vote in the Texas Republican Primary will have virtually no impact on who wins the Republican nomination. With polls showing Hillary leading in a potential McCain/Hillary race and record voter turnout in democratic primary races, the chances of a Republican winning this year are very small. Many conservatives have either ambivalence or downright disdain for John McCain. Even Ann Coulter said she would campaign for Hillary if McCain wins the nomination. With him as the nominee, many conservatives will stay home in the general election, making a Hillary Clinton Presidency almost inevitable.
I repeat, UNLESS you help Obama win the Texas primary, Hillary Clinton will likely be the next President of the United States.
After Super Tuesday, Obama trails Clinton by 82 delegates, and Texas, with its 181 delegates, will be decisive in determining who gets the Democratic nomination. Even if you are a lifetime republican, you can vote in the democratic primary if you forgo wasting your vote in a contest where a McCain victory is absolute. You do not have to change your party affiliation; you just go to your normal polling place on March 4th and choose to vote in the Democratic primary instead of the Republican.
I for one will be doing my part to prevent a Hillary Clinton presidency by casting an absentee ballot for Obama. For those of you who choose to stay home on March 4th or vote in the Republican primary, think long and hard about the next four years of a Hillary Clinton presidency.
