Purple States

Obama beats Mccain in purple states. He beats McCain by a few more points than Hillary does. The superdelegates watch these polls the most closely, and if he keeps her lead small in PA, they'll flock to him to end her reign of terror before it gets further out of control.
 
This is the analysis i was trying to put together myself from a number of disparate surveys and sources.

They defined purple states as those where the votes cast for bush and kerry were within 6 points either way.
