"If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," said

Many Clinton supporters feel similarly. It is human nature. Everyone
feels the cross they bear is heavier than everyone else's. Women believe
its being a woman. Blacks, Blackness; the disabled, their diability; the
poor, poverty; bald men, baldness (there is actually compelling hard
data to support baldness).
The only true judge is the person who carries both crosses, and Black
women, fairly unanimously believe its race.

Interestingly, a number of studies do suggest that while Blacks suffer
more from wage discrimination, its easier to find evidence that it is
due to performance than with women.
