McCain's odds of winning have become so low, he will need the mother of all Hail Mary passes to win. Hail Grandma!!
McCain has announced a pullout of Michigan. This is significant because, without Michigan, his odds of winning the election, http://www.270towin.com>by some estimates fall from 7% to 1%.
At this point, McCain needs to win 7/10 swing states to win the election. Obama needs to only 1 or 2 (and Georgia is not one of them).His odds are so low, he is becoming erratic and dangerous. He has nothing to lose. He must have come to this realization weeks ago. Look at his desperate behavior:
* choosing an unknown as a running mate
* suspending his campaign (nationally and now in Michigan)
* adopting Obama's "change" mantra as his own
* switching from derugulation to championing regulation
It is time to worry about these long shots. Most have have hurt McCain, but one of these wild passes could connect.
