Collective Destruction

The Republicans are determined to lose the election. I wasn't quick to choose sides when when Governor Scott Walker chose to take on the public workers in Wisconsin. Wisconsin's fairly liberal and not terribly unionized. Walker is a short timer and appears to be comfortable with this.

Today, though, the Republican controlled House in OHIO chose to curb benefits for union walkers. That is just suicide. Ohio is a swing state with a huge tradition in organized labor. Its not just A swing state. It is the largest swings state next to Florida. Pissing off unions in Ohio is among the dumbest things Republicans can do ... next to electing Huckabee as their nominee.
