Joe needs a new agenda.
A year or 2 ago, we thought the pandemic would kill the economy and we need to stimulate the big economy with an infrastructure package. He ran on this and won.
Now, 2 years into his presidency and the pandemic, consumer demand is strong, stronger than supply. In fact, record inflation suggests that the economy is in danger of overheating.
Build Back Better's focus on infrastructure is not wrong. America has needed to reinvest in its infrastructure
for decades. The timing would have been perfect in 2008, at the beginning of Biden's VICE Presidency. It would been timely in 1991, 2001, and even 1981. Now, during prolonged inflation, is the onetime when the timing is least needed.
His agenda's poor timing is the why he is losing. If he wants to win the hearts, minds, and votes of the American people, he needs an agenda that addresses relevant, current issues, namely:
* health care,
* violent crime, and
* the defecit/economy.

It's past time thathe passed the tiny bill Manchin will sign and moves on to a more relevant agenda than Build Back Better.
